First Special Needs Cat Adopted

 Online Charity Auction/Fundraising News

We will be holding an online charity auction on Dec 1, 2015 with all proceeds benefitting our rescue efforts.  Keep an eye on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/catstwilight for more details on the items and location of the online auction.  If you wish to donate items for the auction, please contact us via phone or e-mail below.  We can provide a receipt for tax-deduction purposes as we are a 501(c)3 charity.

We have also initiated a vehicle donation program using an outside source.  All you need to do is go to the site, provide the information, they send you any papers to sign, and they even tow the vehicle for you!  They take cars, trucks, ATV's, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and RVs.  If you have a vehicle that you no longer have a use for, then please donate it to us!  The site to initiate the donation is: http://www.v-dac.com/org?id=26-4012512.

We will also be working on other fundraising ideas in the near future so keep tuned in to our Facebook page for details!

Volunteers Needed!

Ponce, who was the first special needs cat that Cat’s Twilight took on, was recently adopted by a wonderful family in Greensburg.  Ponce came to Cat’s Twilight in October 2014 with an inflamed eye.  We treated him with various medications and antibiotics, but alas, the eye was not to be saved.  It was removed, and after a month or two of recovery, Ponce bounced back as if he always lived with one eye!  His new forever family picked him, especially because of the missing eye, and he has a new kitten brother as well!

Building Progress

As you may or may not know, Cat’s Twilight was lucky enough to receive a building donation from the Margaret Raphael Foundation in 2014.  The building needs extensive renovations and repairs, and some have been started.  We are in dire need of financial donations as well as material and labor donations to allow us to continue on this endeavor.  We have a donation site if you wish to donate financially at :  https://www.razoo.com/story/Building-Renovation-Project, or mail donations to the address below.  Any offers of labor or materials can be arranged through the telephone number or e-mail address listed below.  Every little bit helps us reach our goal of helping the cats and kittens in our care!

Cat’s Twilight is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us with our weekend adoption events as well as any larger fundraising events that we will be having.  Our shelter is not online yet, but once it is, we will need assistance there as well.  Until then, weekend volunteers, labor volunteers for the building renovation, and fundraising event volunteers are needed.  We are also looking for foster homes to allow us to help more cats and kittens that are out there!  Contact us below for more details!

Cat’s Twilight wants to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season this fall/winter and we’ll see you in the spring!!
